eZeePOS Office Stock – Getting Started – Setting A Product to Manage Stock

When a product is created, as default it will not be set to manage stock. You can enable this by going into the Stock tab against a product in Product Programming. In here, you can tick the box which says Manage Stock. This section also allows you to set what units will be used for this product, specifically:

  • – Report Stock Unit
  • – Purchase Stock Unit
  • – Stock Take Stock Unit

It also allows for a Default Order Quantity for whenever this product is added to a new order

Enabling Stock by Default

As mentioned previously, any new products will not as default be enabled for stock management. However, there is an option in the Tenant Options under Config which when turned on, any new products will have Manage Stock enabled by default. The option is shown below:
